Terrible app and PC software.. will never recommend or use no matter what they do to it. I really wasted 24 hours of my life trying to figure this thing out..
  • No OBS, Zoom, Teams on Mac

It works great in OBS, Zoom, Teams, etc. in Windows. It does not work on a Mac. The only app you can use it in on a Mac is Elgato Camera Hub which is essentially useless. You can't use the wireless camera in OBS, Zoom, or Teams on a Mac, which are—by far—the most common ways people use a wireless "second" camera. Apple has terrible developer access to their APIs and licensing for Third Party developers so it wouldn't be surprising if the lack of Mac functionality is Apple's fault rather than Elgato's.
  • Won’t connect and has the most lag

Literally doesn’t work. Total waste of time and it always wants to connect to the Wi-Fi and never the plug-in. Not to mention it crashes constantly total waste of time. Glad I didn’t buy the pro.
  • No audio

I can’t find any info on whether this should be sending audio in addition to video. If it can’t, this is going to be useless to me. I installed and reinstalled but it does no send audio from my phone to PC. Is it supposed to? Most Webcams contain a mic, so this is not a replacement for one if it doesn’t. If you have a direct connection instead of WiFi, there should be no lag issues so at least offer that. If I’m not doing something wrong, the. The app description should clearly state video only. Giving it a 3 for lack of audio information or troubleshooting.

Not working at all with an iPhone 5. Have the app installed on the phone, and Camera Hub on the pc. Waiting a while and nothing is happening in Camera Hub. Nice waste of time though.

  • Auto dimming makes this useless as a webcam

I bought this app to be able to live stream drawing demos. The screen automatically dims after several seconds, and there is no way to turn this “feature” off, making it impossible to use as a webcam.
  • Camera Hub is junk

The companion software is junk. Still no audio support on MacOS after several 'Updates'. Now it does not even send video to ANY APPS IN SONOMA! I get a green screen in OBS, QuickTime, FaceTime, Photobooth, etc. App is useless without computer software/drivers and the drivers have been broken for several versions now. Would not reccommend!

This app helped me so much as now I can use my old iPad for everything now! The filters connect to my Snapchat so I even have a green screen! There is no downside to this at all! Except that I cant use a microphone without having to pay but that is a easy fix with a third part app or voice memos, but all in all this is a great software because all it needs is just internet and its working, no wire no nothing! But for background features you need a Rtx 2080 TI but be honest, do you really need that?
