MONOPOLY GO!

I find it very difficult to get cards that are needed. Some of the events are impossible to finish with under 5K dice. Even spending money for purple packs to try to get good cards, a lot are gold duplicates given so it’s not even like you can trade them. Since the update, opening the vault doesn’t give you a wild, so you’ll just get duplicates (the 800 star vault). When you finish your entire album, you should be able to carry over at least one of each duplicate that you already have with it being so difficult to get cards. The further you get in the game the less fun it becomes because of how expensive the builds are but the money you’re bringing in from different things isn’t enough so it doesn’t exactly equal out. Constantly getting green packs with 1 star stickers does nothing - especially now without having a wild in the vault. Hopefully they roll out another update and make it better. I get it the game isn’t supposed to be easy, but it also shouldn’t be this difficult. Also only getting 5 trades a day is definitely not enough. There should be more added or a quicker reset.

Why is it that I can have my multiplier set to 100. I land on a shield and get a 100 shield and I notice that one person attacks and then I only got 4 left. There needs to a feature to show how many shields you have. You can see who attacked your landmark and check to see if it matches

The game was fun at first, but now it's very frustrating after you get to a certain board you can't pass it. The dice are not enough to progress through the game as another reviewer said you only get about 10 dice per hour. and then your bogarded with multiple advertisements in the game to purchase packs and when you do purchase it, it still doesn't help you progress. before actually entering the game, you see at least 3 to 4 pop-ups trying to persuade you to purchase a pack so it is very irritating. Specially when sometimes all you wanna do is just get to the game.

The original actual monopoly game is the only one. This should be taken down, absolute trash THIS GAME DOES NOT CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF THE ACTUAL MONOPOLY GAME

this game is way too boring for me and it was nothing like the poor game so I’d rather do the boring game because it’s so much better like you can actually talk to people like but in the game you can’t it’s not like a mobile game that you can talk so it just makes it so boring so rate it a one star

I love this game

This is a completely honest review so you can know what to expect should you give the game a chance. I’ve been playing Monopoly Go! for almost a year, I’m at level 18,080. First, I want say that this isn’t your parents Monopoly. If you’re expecting the “original” board game experience, this isn’t for you. That said, this version is fresh and exciting. I really like that I can play and connect with family and friends who live far away. Seven of my family played and four close friends. The graphics are clear and look great. The boards are themed differently and fun to build, and you can collect lots of unique tokens and shields. Monopoly Go is free to play with the option of buying dice, but you can complete sticker sets and boards without making a purchase, just expect to progress slower if you don’t buy them. There are different ways the game gives you free drive to help you along. To be transparent, I do purchase dice packs from time to time, it helps boost my tournament play and I don’t mind supporting Scopley for their hard work. On the surface, the game itself is great and easy to catch onto. The spirit of Monopoly Go really does give you all of the highs and lows that come with the original board game, only on a different level. Now for the bad… I wish I could give the game five stars but I can’t. It has so much potential to be the great game it strives on being. However, it’s been derailed by cheaters who play the game in APM (airplane mode) and completely take advantage of players who try to stay honest and not cheat. Be prepared to beg for stickers and fight for fair trades, as well as constant solicitations to pay for “complete carry services” for partner events. At first many honest players ignored them but that’s becoming more difficult as it’s harder to win side tournaments and those coveted sticker packs when cheaters fly up the ranks, keeping honest players from getting ahead. The trading groups on Facebook aha Discord are filled with “in your face” players who admit to and brag about cheating, often belittling the ones who call them out. I’ve never experienced a game/situation like this and I don’t know if the developers are working on a solution or if they’ve just given in to the cheaters and rule breakers. Players who put honest “real” money into the game take the cheating seriously…and it is a problem. One of my friends started playing on APM and started selling stickers, they made almost 1k in a few months. I don’t agree with it but it’s up to Scopley how they handle this issue, and I really hope they do. All in all, the game in itself is great, it really is…but the actual game play is often frustrating and disappointing because of the many bad apples who cheat and take advantage of others. Only three of my family even play now, and I’m not sure how much longer I’m staying with it. Hope this helps you a little bit in your decision to play. There’s a lot to enjoy and hopefully, soon, it will again be the game it prides itself on being.

I enjoy playing it and find it to be a fun way to pass the time a few times a day. However, having to click X on four or five offers to buy stuff everytime I start the app, everytime I run out of dice is super annoying. I will never spend money on this game. I wish they had an option to opt out of all advertisements in the game.

Why would anyone buy dice to play a game that doesn’t give you the chance to win money? It’s ridiculous. There’s plenty of games where you put in money to win money. Stop buying dice people. What’s wrong with you? If people stopped buying dice maybe this pathetic scheme they set up to make money would stop. The game isn’t that great that anyone should be willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get nothing in return. The goal of this game is to make you buy dice so they can laugh at you, all the way to the bank. Property gets insanely expensive and they still give you 60 dice for completing a board.

Not everybody has nor wants a Facebook account. But it’s the only way to play with friends. Lame.
