ATN Obsidian 4

It’s a lot of money for something that works - kinda ! Can’t find a work-around for low security issue so cannot connect to my phone or WiFi. New customer to ATN and am very disappointed.

Fix your app are update it tried creating a folder won’t work tried turning on fire vault won’t work everything it tells me to do the settings is not on new iMacs hhgggvcccffddddd

This app, does basically nothing. If ATN would update the scope to name a profile, the app would be useless. I have used it to screen capture and Live Steam before, and comments were cursing the app out as well. ATN, you’re obviously selling millions of dollars worth of scopes. Update this! Make it do more. Never use this because it’s utter junk.

Weak security. Dont know if apple did updates in their software or what but I cant use my optic with my phone anymore.

Very disappointing app. Minimal features and the ones there are, don’t work. Don’t waste your time downloading.

had my scope for about 2 years and used to work with the app.. i want to hog hunt with my brother and look and the phone for what is at the feeder in the dark but the app wont sync with my phone even though i’m connected to the atn wifi… and i just downloaded the latest firmware and it still wont work.

It won’t connect to my scope, so it is useless to me, the app of course. Why is there no torque spec for the scope rings, I’ve stripped two screws so now I can’t even use the thing yet. So what’s next?

App would connect but nothing in the app would work until I set the FPS to 60. I believe the default is 120 for good scope viewing but if you want to connect to the app change it down to 60. Hope that helps someone with the same problem.

The instructional videos from ATN were spot on. Whatever previous bugs might have been an issue, have been worked out. Great scope for its price point! (ATN x-sight 4K Pro 3-14X)

I recently bought a Thor 4 640 1-10x and I was a bit worried after seeing the reviews here that I had just dropped a significant amount of money on a thermal scope that claimed to have a lot of smart features but wouldn’t deliver. Upon unboxing I followed all the instructions on set up and I was able to fairly quickly figure out how to connect to the scope with the app and I was able to get all the features working. (Bonus points to ATN for sending me a scope that was current on the firmware so I could skip the updates) Of course this was at home without having mounted the scope yet so I decided to take it on a hunt first before making up my mind. I arrived at the lease before even mounting the scope but once I got it mounted I read the manual for about 15 minutes to figure out how to use the one shot zero. (Probably should be aware that you need a thermal target to one shot zero, wasn’t quite one shot using a cold water bottle in front of a paper target but… more user error in that situation) after zero I went and set up in a field in the back of the truck and was able to clearly see out over the feeders and trees. I then tried to use the smart features and had no problem connecting to the scope on my phone with zero cell service. I used the remote viewing, played with various color and reticle settings and was able to take pictures and record videos on the scope and send them all to my phone in seconds. If you’re reading most of the reviews here you’re probably worried like I was but based on my experience, they’ve worked all the software kinks out by now and this is a pretty legit scope and app.
