Pivot Power Smart is an app-enabled version of Quirky's best-selling power strip. Use this app with your Pivot Power Smart to remotely control the two app-enabled outlets directly from your mobile device. You can control power to anything plugged into your Pivot Power Smart - from lamps to air conditioners to fans. Use the app anytime, anywhere to schedule instructions automatically - whether it’s just a simple on/off or a customized instructions tailored to your weekly schedule. Push notifications alert you when the device has been turned on/off, when a physical switch is pressed or if the Wi-Fi disconnects on your power strip. Not sure if you switched off you the lights when you left for work this morning? Check the app and switch them off so you don’t run up your electric bill!

    I downloaded this to my phone several times. I got to same results myself as a last reviewer. It would not open just get a black screen. I deleted it from my phone.

    This app is garbage! I downloaded to my phone to be able to use the smart plug and it would never open. I downloaded it at least 4 times and I had the same result each time Nothing just a black screen when I try to open it..Don’t buy Their product hoping to use it as A smart device because it will not work.. their App is worthless…

    This afternoon longer even loads. And that means that my quirky GE power strip only has two working outlets since the other two require the smart app and it’s integration into smart hubs. So do not waste your money on anything from GE or Corky or this app developer. Maybe someone will actually compensate people for having invested into their products and technologies and then been thrown to the curb.

    Although you can still buy Quirky products, the app crashes and it doesn’t seem like they’re going to fix it. If you just purchased a Quirky product, take it back now.

    Would love to be able to actually use this power strip the way it’s advertised but given that the app doesn’t work at all, this wound up being kind of a pointless purchase. Oops.

    The app crashes when attempting to fill out the very initial field to either login or register. Quirky’s website only lists a simple, “non-smart” version of the power strip that does not require an app (hence no link to support of any kind). The app, when it worked, was exactly what I needed. I’m assuming it just needs to be refreshed to work with the latest iOS.
