Ketchup is full featured *creature encyclopaedia* app that will help you become a true master of a specific series of games. It’s fast and easy to browse or search for all the information you could ask for, whether you’re just brushing up or you’re in the heat of battle and need to know the right move, right now. Catch ’em all You can track what creatures you’ve captured, including whether or not you’ve caught their rare shiny variants. Type Calculator It includes a type calculator, helping you get the edge in battle. Daily Quiz Every day Ketchup shows a new quiz, to see if you can guess creatures based on their silhouettes. I think fans of the anime will enjoy this a lot. Ketchup+ Ketchup is free to use but only shows information for the original 151 creatures unless you purchase Ketchup+ I hope you enjoy using Ketchup as much as I’ve enjoyed building it.     This is a great app, it makes for the perfect companion while playing any Pokemon game. The UI design is beautiful too, by far the best app I’ve seen when it comes to a Pokédex. One suggestion I have is in regard to the type matchup selector. I do like the wheel selector design, however I do wish I could swipe anywhere on the left or right half of the screen to begin scrolling through the wheel. Right now, I have to begin scrolling by dragging on the type icon itself, and then I can move my thumb down to scroll from a more natural position. It would be nice if a swipe on any position on the left/right of the screen brought up the wheel selector. Also, more just for me, but a “Pokemon of the Day” widget would be so neat. A previous app I used had a Home Screen widget feature that presented a different Pokemon from the Dex every day, but it’s no longer on the App Store. This app seems like the perfect fit for that type of widget!

    *I am updating my review as generational move-set data was added. Honestly this app is just the best! This is the most beautiful app for Pokémon organization. It’s so clean, and works amazing I had to purchase the full version. The app has so much data, cleanly organized and has most of the relevant information I would want to see in easy to find locations. My gripe is that you can not select the move-set per generation (if it’s there I missed it). I also wish the app had egg moves. But amazing app and worth getting!

    This is by far the best Pokedex app and work so well!!! I can’t wait to see what else you’re able to add If there’s things i think would be good to add, different sprites for different generations, and/or shiny sprites!

    I'm very pleased with my experience using the app as it gets rid of the bloat you find with other sources for pokemon data. A lot of the time I am just grabbing quick reminders on evolution or moves based on level up and this app gets straight to the point without navigating through multiple windows or scrolling indefinitely which is well worth paying for Ketchup+ to get all the gens. I was thrilled to see the developer responding to reviews and indicating future plans so I am excited to see where this app will go in the future.

    This app is amazing. I purchased the Plus version to have full access to all creatures. Even the type matchup features and effectiveness is amazing. However there is one feature I would add for premium users like myself, and that is the creatures cries. It would be cool that when you open a creature’s specific page information or tap on their images, you hear their cry from the games. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Really impressed with how smooth and user friendly this app is. Has most of the information that you’d want at a quick glance. There are only a few things I feel are missing for this app to be perfect. First one being pokédex entries for regional variants/ mega evolutions/ gigantamax/ alternate forms. Second one being the category/ species of each Pokémon below it’s name. Other people have mention a search for Pokémon by types.

    Great app, beautifully designed. Purchased :) Perfect launch timing as well. I’ve found one small issue— when in the Items menu, it doesn’t search from Items, but searches for Pokémon & moves. Tried looking up the Macho Brace but had to scroll to find it

    I’ve used several Pokemon apps over the years and this one is, by far, the best yet. It’s exceptionally designed and incredibly easy to use. Around every corner is another layer of depth of information and detail, yet none of it feels overwhelming, confusing, or cumbersome. Navigating Ketchup is a breeze. From the font to the images to the colors - it’s very inviting. It’s pleasantly nostalgic to explore and rediscover so much Pokemon lore I’ve enjoyed over the years. At first I was a bit turned off by the optional fee to upgrade for the rest of the dex, but honestly, I believe it’s worth it. Also, it’s important to support the devs! Especially one like this who has been so active and engaging on Twitter when he launched the app! I don’t think I’ll need another Pokemon app ever again. It’s about time there was one place for me to go to find all of this information. GameFreak, take notes!!

    The app is great and it’s UX is spotless. One thing I wish you added though was being able to see a Pokémon’s move list by generation. I’m playing through Red for the first time and most Pokémon’s move lists are drastically different from where they are today. If you added a view where you can see the move list by generation, I truly think this would be the greatest Pokédex app on the market.
