    The amount of work necessary to get Nextdoor to stop notifying me about every little thing is ridiculous. I constantly get emails despite unsubscribing. You have to subscribe to each little thing individually, why is there not a “unsubscribe to all” button?

    App is fine, great way to see what’s going on in the neighborhoods. Unnecessary amount of censorship though. Many rude neighbors with zero comprehension skills as well.

    I was told by an admin that I can only make one post a week to advertise my up and coming business. I’m respectful and not pushy and have only been in this app for a few days with zero success. There seems to be a double standard, a disparity. It is very difficult to survive these days and times are changing. I can provide copies references if real people that I’ve done stellar work for who are deeply satisfied repeat customers. I can provide dozens of names, numbers and addresses. Also. I’ve experienced multiple glitches with your app and have made a business page twice and verified it only for the slate to have been wiped clean the next day, only your message (from nextdoor). I’d recommend that you be more clear with a concise set of rules and guidelines because this is incredibly whimsical and oppressive and I have copies of my correspondence and screenshots and I’m tempted by k make this public. I feel personally offended and I invested a lot of time and effort in this and was very hopeful. I hope you have a nice evening and take care. No hard feeling I merely want to express my concerns

  • Email Notifications extremely delayed

    I receive email notifications a couple of days up to a week after post was made. I just received another one today a 12:27pm. The post was made 5 days ago!! Somebody lost their cat and thought it might be hurt. In order for people to help notifications need be sent out in a timely manner. In my previous review I posed the question “what triggers the email notifications to be sent?” The response from Nextdoor developer was a generic response with a link to “ check your Nextdoor settings”. Really- is there a setting that allows a user to choose to get notifications a few days up to a week after the post?! I previously tried get help and the developer replied “sorry that you are receiving unwanted notifications “. Hello!! I said they are extremely delayed not that they are unwanted. The developer must have meant to say “sorry that you don’t want to receive extremely DELAYED notifications!” Don’t count on getting timely notifications from this app or timely help with issues or really any kind of useful help with issues. I did try to update my previous review but was not successful in doing so, even with Apple support help.

    I think this app is a good idea, except it has become a lost and found pet app now. We need a separate Nextdoor lost and found Pets so that Nextdoor itself can go back to neighbourhood information which pertains to everybody. I receive notifications that there is a post and I am loath to click on it because I’m wondering who has lost a pet this time. if you take away lost/found pets and pets for ‘rehoming’ and the ads there isn’t that much left.

    Customer service is next to non existent. Quick to take your money but if any issues must email and will get a response maybe next day and response never address your issue

  • Nothing on the Home Page

    I deleted a downloaded this app twice to my iPhone and each time nothing comes up on the homepage. Items for sale appear on the for sale page and other pages seem to work. I belong to a Next Door neighborhood but the Home Page of the app has stopped working. I can see light gray lines indicating where content should be but that’s all.
