A "must-have” tool for every Speech-Language Pathologist to use with all ages. Use for articulation, apraxia, reading, phonological awareness, and more! It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to have quick access to nearly every single-syllable word in the English language: 1) Pick which sounds you want to appear in initial, medial, and final positions 2) Flip each sound individually or flip whole words 3) Hear the sounds and words, then record yourself and play it back instantly _______________________ FLIP BOOKS JUST GOT BETTER This professional speech therapy app takes the little paper flip books that so many parents, teachers, and therapists have made – and enhances them with benefits that are only available through technology: *Touch each of the 125 phonemes and clusters to hear them *Play all 2,300+ single-syllable words in natural voice *Record yourself and play it back for instant feedback and self-monitoring *Select only the sounds you want to target in each position of the word *Pick the combination of word shapes you need (V, CV, VC, CVC) *See sounds, spelling, or IPA (phonetics) on the pages *Limit combinations to only real words *Target specific vowels – something few other articulation apps let you do _______________________ WHY YOU NEED THIS APP Speech-language pathologists love this app because it’s so convenient. You can generate word lists in seconds, focusing on specific initial or final sounds, clusters, or sound combinations. Pediatric therapists are seeing the positive results of children being in control of this app. The kids can hear and make each sound, then blend them together into well-articulated words. They’ll love recording themselves and flipping the pages – and you’ll love the progress they’re making. “But there aren’t any pictures! Kids need pictures!” Wrong! The child who sees a picture of a car will likely use their typical speech production and say “cah.” The same child who touches each sound individually, without necessarily knowing what the word will be, can copy and blend the sounds more accurately. They’ll surprise themselves with how well they’re speaking! Adults love Speech Flipbook too. There’s nothing childish about this app that can be useful for survivors of stroke, brain injury, and progressive diseases that impact communication. This app can be used in therapy to target: *Articulation *Apraxia *Learning to Read *Phonological Awareness & Disorders *Minimal Pairs *Dysarthria *Accent Reduction *Speech Perception for Deaf and Hard of Hearing SAVE TIME with this talking flip book that is completely customizable to your needs. Use whichever therapy technique you like for speech sound disorders (cycles, minimal or maximal contrasts, metaphon, complexity, traditional drill, etc), and use this app to generate the appropriate word lists on demand. _______________________ WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING "Can I just tell you how many hours this will save me?! I make these types of flip books for all my artic kiddos & ones working on phonological skills. This app is SOOO much easier & more functional." - School-Based SLP "I like hearing my voice when you push the red button!"..."You let me touch the letters so I can try all by myself!"..."Flipping the pages is fun!" - Elementary students "I've been working on sound blending with several students, but as soon as they see the picture in other materials, they stop blending & just name the picture. In this app, I can have them focus on blending the sounds & ‘discovering’ the word on their own. This has really helped them understand the importance of using the sounds to help decode, instead of relying on the pictures." - School-based SLP *No outside ads, no in-app purchases, links can be deactivated *Eligible for 50% off Education VPP discount for schools & grad students

Looking for an app to help stimulate improved motor learning in adults with apraxia? Look no further! Another great and functional app by Tactus. Easy to use and worth the cost.

This is a GREAT app!! You can use it in a variety of ways and settings! It's been an effective tool for my CAS patients. When I purchased it I noticed that the sound would not transfer to my Bluetooth speaker, so I sent Tactus an email asking for help. They responded immediately and released an update in less than a week fixing the problem! Great customer service!! Really dedicated to improve the apps to fit your needs!! Thank you!!

This is a must have app for SLPs or SLPAs working with children. I use this app for blending, phonemic awareness, and articulation. I do with there was a way to select the number of visual wheels so that CV words or multisyllabic words could also be targeted.

This app is a versatile therapy tool for pediatrics up through geriatrics. I love the ability to isolate certain clusters and vowels. It is a worthwhile app that will help to target articulation and intelligibility in various populations.

I love using this app in therapy. It's great that you can pick as many or as few sounds as you'd like to work on at a time. This is the first app I've found that has this capability. The clients love flipping to the next word and the older kids appreciate the fact that it doesn't have babyish pictures. You can also practice phonics with your students who are learning to read.
  • A flip book you can have with you at all times!

A flip book with ALL consonants and vowels you can have with you at all times! You can select the initial and final sounds (or no initial or final sounds for practicing VC and CV syllables) you want by individual phoneme(s), by place of articulation (bilabial, dental, etc.) or by manner of articulation (nasal, etc.). A huge !

I use this app to develop phonemic awareness and phonics skills, along with providing articulation practice. Working with older students, the design of this app encourages my kids without being too juvenile for them but also provides practice with lower level, single syllable skills which many of my students still need. I like how you can design the syllable complexity to meet the needs of the individual student. Nice app!

  • More than just speech

As an elementary school SLP, most of my kdg referrals are for unintelligible speech. These students usually also have great difficulty learning their phonological awareness skills in the classroom. This app lets you kill two birds with one stone. They learn to associate a letter with a sound, how to identify where their sound is in a word, how to blend the sounds into a word, and how to make new words by changing one sound ... all the things they struggle with in class. Anytime we can give this kind of support to the curriculum is a win-win situation. Using a self-monitoring rubric with this has also been hugely successful with the apraxic kids. Awesome! Now let's talk about developing that rubric into an app! My only issue has been getting the pages to actually flip, but that is probably due to my screen protector. Let's face it, in the school setting you do a lot of sanitizing!
