Beschreibung

CSV files (Comma Separated Values) are a common format used to transfer simple data, it is often used for email lists, spreadsheet exports and for databases. RuneCSV allows you to edit these CSV files in an easy to use interface. RuneCSV also makes use of Lion's FullScreen so you can modify CSV files using the full screen estate. RuneCSV organises opened files in easy to read gridded columns and offers many features which makes it simple to edit your spreadsheet or database exports.

    I have a file of 1 million lines of data. Too big for numbers to handle and just so everyone knows… Too big for this whimpy App as well. :-< Just blew $4.00 to find that out… What a bummer

    I needed a simple CSV file viewer and light, simplistic editor with no bloat or 1001 extra features. This is exactly what I needed and it works very well for me.

  • App Won’t Print or Save

    I bought this wanting something simple to read/edit/print. This app keeps spinning when I try to save and will not print. It simply crashes and doens’t respond. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. Waste of money.

    Well, as for a viewer, this app does the trick - however as an editor, I'm having trouble using the most basic functionality on a CSV offered by the app. Moreover, seems as though all the options are grayed out such as the transformations, substition or even find/replace. I went to the forums to see if maybe I'm missing out on how to work the app - and it was still somewhat of a nightmare to navigate to find information on this app specifically. Good start, but still needs work.

    I needed a little app just to view CSV files (without having to launch a spreadsheet program which will hog up my mac) This does the job and I was lucky enough to get it while it was free, would have paid for this no doubt!

  • Crashes!

    While I was able to open a CSV from Numbers, the moment I tried to edit it, it crashed. I love the ide of a simplified spredsheet application, but this one is lacking in the polish department. It is bare bones and only light use.

    I paid for and downloaded this app, and can't get it to work on my CSV files. Sometimes it shows nothing, sometimes it is wildly mis-formatted. Not able to figure out how to get support for *this product* or contact the developer, either.
