  • Fabulous Fireplace App; Needs a Christmas Theme!

    This is a great app, which I have installed on a 27" iMac. I like the choices of scenes/types. That being said, there ought to be one more, modeled after the "elegant fireplace" with flowers in the foreground and the "romantic dinner" with champagne glasses. That addition ought to be "Christmas fireplace", with a lit Christmas tree off to the side (with both Christmas tree and fireplace in focus). Other than that omission, this is a great app with soothing fireplace sounds to accompany it, too. I will be moving soon and will greatly miss my fireplace. I'm SO glad I found this one to take with me! Thank you, developers! 2023 Update: This fireplace screensaver works just as well on Catalina on a 2020 iMac as it did on my 2009 iMac running El Capitan. I wish the same could be said under High Sierra. In that version of macOS, I get is an immediate crash and a log file report that reads "Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSUnknownKeyException', reason: '[ addObserver: forKeyPath:@"versionDetecter.iapUpgradeToFullVersionNowLStr" options:256 context:0x0] was sent to an object that is not KVC-compliant for the "versionDetecter" property.' terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException”. Does anybody else have zero success running this screensaver on High Sierra? I hope the developer will fix this as the quality of the screensaver is above average.

    The screensaver doesn't fill the entire screen! There is a gap at the bottom. I contacted customer support and I have heard NOTHING back. GARBAGE!

    I use this app often while I am in class (nursing school). I keep it on during my lectures and it is relaxing.

    310v didnt work on my 2009 IMAC 27. But the previous version 300 (803) worked Flawlessly. So I had to go into Time Machine and replace the new version with the 300v that is on the money. So I’m back happy now.

    I really enjoy this app. I live in Senior Apartments and of course there is No Smoking and definitely no Open Flames. So when it is cold, I have my heater running, and this fireplace on the screensaver and it makes me happy, relaxed, and I even feel warmer. Good App

    I have a new headphone amplifier & headphones, and this fireplace app makes my iMac’s screen amuch more pleasant place to gaze at while I listen to music. To the reviewer who complained about the app coming on while he’s working - just go into Preferences and change the Screensaver - Start After setting.
