    If you decide to write a review and it’s negative, make sure you do it after your subscription has ended. I wrote a negative review a week before my subscription ended and they blocked my account. No reasons given. I contacted them and was told it was blocked due to inconsistencies. I hadn’t changed anything. Told me I had to send a copy of my drivers license. Front and back. SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE. Now they won’t respond to me. They said 48 hours for a response and it’s been 96 hours with no response. I’ve sent several messages and no response. They accepted my money and then blocked what I had paid for and won’t respond. I’m betting that this will not be in the review section because they don’t want people to find out. Please do not use zoosk. It’s a scam. It should be illegal but nothing will be done about it. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Please do the same if the scammers steal from you as well.

    Zoosk has erased all of my message history with the females I am writing to. They will not restore them. If I write messages then leave the page and come back the messages are gone. The people I’m sending messages to are not seeing the messages. I have confirmed this with one of the people I am sending messages to outside of Zoosk. Zoosk please fix this

    Recent update deleted all my past messages and won’t let me see any new messages, if I send a Message I can see it sent then of I close the app the message has been deleted or I can no longer see it. The app constantly resets itself and shows a error message. Can’t use it it trash. Beyond that there is not enough other users I don’t meet anyone local to me and feel I wasted my money subscribing. Avoid this app for now

    This app constantly has errors even after doing the updates. Have missed several connections because of this. Would not recommend. I will cancel and delete the app as soon as my subscription ends

    This app is flooded with romance scammers. People are in other countries spoofing that they are local to you trying to get you to send them money. Almost everyone I match with gets removed because they are suspected of being scammers. Zoosk instead needs to shutdown the site and remove all the people who are scammers and then open it back up. They have the technology to figure out who a scammer is but it’s only until I’m contacted by one of these scammers that they come in and shut the profile down. They need to be more proactive with removing these people before they show their profile to others

    They get you to buy it by using a bot to send you a message and you can only read it if you pay subscription. You also only see the same 10 people over and over

    This is long but bear with me. It could be useful info. Many dating apps have their manipulative, little marketing ploys designed to get you to subscribe and continue to subscribe by dangling false hope like a shiny fishing lure. I.e. The day your subscription expires you suddenly have more likes and messages than received during the entire length of subscription. Of course you can’t see these “sudden suitors” or read msgs. It’s absolutely insulting, but certainly not unique. The knee-jerk impulse to give them more money in order to respond is exactly what they’re hoping for. I know, because I’ve fallen for it. So you sign back up only to find its either profiles you’ve already passed on, ones that are thousands of miles away, despite your specific settings, or worse, not even real. But what separates Zoosk from other abhorrent dating apps (ie ONCE, thats Zoosk runs ads for) is their contemptible cowardice. They censor even the most benign comments made about them. Thought I’d try and have a little fun at the expense. In the icebreaker section, I chose two truths a lie… “I was an alternate on the US Olympic table tennis team. I cannot see messages, and Zoosk won’t even allow me to tell you that without paying for another subscription. I will not give them any more money” This was reviewed and denied by Zoosk. I tried a sarcastic approach on my next attempt… “Water is wet, the sky is blue(sometimes grey) & Zoosk is so great the way they allow us to read new msgs and stay in touch with people even after subscription expires.” Reviewed and denied. They sent an email saying in order to avoid being declined again, follow the guidelines…… Don’t include your full name. ✅ Don’t include your contact information including phone number, and email ✅ Don’t include any profanity, or sexually explicit remarks✅ I’ve sent numerous emails to Zoosk asking exactly which one of these guidelines was broken. They have not replied to any of them. Certain there will be a response from them following this cathartic rant, toting the company line,”Sorry you’ve had an unfortunate experience…blah, blah, blah.” They’re only sorry this was made public, in a place they can’t control.

    This app was the worst waste of money, I was on this app for 2 months. Most guys treat women like they are animals in the Zoo and just came to look at what is in the Zoo. Some just send you a heart and if you massage them you hear nothing back. I am not an ugly woman. This app wastes peoples time and money! If your looking for results go elsewhere, if you are looking for games, you’ve got the right app to waste your money on! Absolutely a Zoo!

    Do *NOT* download this app. Without exaggeration, almost every single profile is a fake profile/bot. Beyond that, the UI is confounding. For some reason, after you like someone, they don’t leave your feed. It will show you all of the people you have already liked. In fact, you have to scroll past them to see new people. This app is disastrous and subscribing does not fix it. Beware.
