Etsy Seller: Manage Your Shop

I really hate this app but it doesn’t matter. They don’t care what we think.

My listings were wrongfully removed after giving them so much business and not a single way to contact them or get an actual person to reach out to me. I am so frustrated with this company I am seriously considering reviewing my legal options.

I’m a new seller on Etsy, and I’m just starting to get the hang of it and get in an efficient groove. Loved the old layout of creating a listing wayyy better. This new version is very inefficient. I liked being able to see everything and fill out the form in the order I chose.

This app is a disaster. I have missed orders and messages that I don’t receive. It glitches in a hundred different ways. I waste so much time in my day trying to get this to work and I have the newest iPhone. This app is just so frustrating! I miss the old app. I never had a single problem. No idea why they had to bring out a new app that refuses to work properly.

Completely garbage that’s all that’s needed.

I’m just launching my online vintage shop and have found the Etsy seller app to be so easy to follow! I’ve been able to quickly list items while waiting for kiddos at sports - which makes this a wonderful side business for our busy family. It is super easy to complete purchases and create shipping labels, reducing my run around time. This whole platform has truly been life changing and I love every time I hear that little ca-Ching!

The old app was better. Could edit everything and see everything a lot better on that one.

When I tried to sign in to the app it won’t even let me sign in this app is horrible

Etsy won’t let me make an account

Etsy bans sellers for no reason. Have no issues selling across other platforms. We opened an Etsy store back toward the end of 2023 and been have open a few months to study and learn what can and can’t be sold on Etsy learn proper seo etc before even made our first listing. So finally in 2024 around March we made our first listings and didn’t see much traction until about we had around 20 items on our store made our first sale about a month in from when we put up our first listing and sales came in slowly but consistent. I’d say 1 every other day. Then it started to get to 1 a day then once we made more than 1 sale a day we got suspended. They didn’t even send us an email they way I found out was through not being able to log into the app. So we did further digging and emailed Etsy to try to get to the bottom of this if it was something we did wrong we were prepared, willing and ready to correct whatever it was that triggered the suspension however when we reached out to Etsy to try and understand what was going on and why we got suspended and this was their answer “ Bhawna (Etsy) Apr 19, 2024, 2:04 PM EDT Hello there, This is Bhawna from Etsy’s Member Services team. We’re unable to reconsider this decision and can no longer respond to further messages about your account status. Regards, Bhawna From what I’m seeing according to what they told us my only conclusion is that Etsy seems to permanently ban sellers for no reason unless someone from Etsy could please clarify what EXACTLY we did wrong to get the suspension after months of hard work on the platform instead of telling us they can’t disclose why we even got suspended in the first place!
