Been using Proton for years now, it’s simply the absolute best. As soon as Proton releases a large monthly Calendar widget I’ll delete my other calendar apps in an instant.
  • Why?

Why does the app log me out every couple of days? Why do I get an email about a new login every time I login from my phone? Why do I never get notifications for events? How can the app be this bad for this long?

Would love to be able to add non major holidays like Veterans Day or Mother’s Day.

Could you guys add widgets? If you’re familiar with the base calendar from iPhone, it has a widget that displays the date on the left, then if there’s anything planned that day is displayed below that date, and on the right it shows upcoming events. That’s the main reason I haven’t completely switched to Proton calendar, because I like being able to swipe left and seeing my upcoming plans for the week. Now if it has something to do with the app needs to decrypt to be able to view my calendar, then that makes sense. Otherwise please add widgets, that would be awesome.

This is really frustrating that I just get an iPhone app on my iPad. They haven’t developed calendar into a iPad app yet, so it doesn’t use any of the screen space. Deleting the app until they fix this.
  • Looks like the iPhone on the iPad. Not usable.

When will there be an iPad-friendly version? The app is fixed fix to work on my iPhone, but not the iPad Pro. I use all of Proton's software on my Mac and iPhone.
  • Calendar Works Well

This app works well. However, it is missing a few MAJOR things that I hope to see in the future. 1. Please add a busy/available tag for each event. This allows me to use scheduling services. It would be nice if events are default as busy, but have the option to be “available” so that when a scheduling service sees the event, it opens that slot. 2. Creating an event that span over multiple days. The UI isn’t great for this. It would be nice to have a graphical date picker, as opposed to the current scrollable text date picker. I like to see the day I’m picking (Mon, Tues, etc), instead of just the number date.

I just downloaded app to iPhone. I selected question mark icon which sends to web access and briefly shows a screen with questions to select that disappears after one second. I am wondering why I am getting this response and how to hopefully import my current calendar? Thank you. Update: Since I left this review the app has been updated and the issue with contacting support no longer exists. Thank you.
