I love this app, first of all I love that this app is still here, I also bought another one at the same time and they took it done so they can charge monthly for it and changed the voices which honestly made me cry cause I used that one more hoping this one is here to stay. I love how I can save books I have bought here and have them read to me especially when I drive an hour each day for work, Iā€™m sick of the radio (especially on Christmas season, I keep rooting for the grinch so I donā€™t have to hear 20 different singers singing the same exact song at different speeds) I used to use fan fiction . Net app since it could read aloud but the fact that I can just go to a website and have it read is great even if I donā€™t have internet, just turn on the data real quick load, turn off the data and I can hear a book. I wish there was a better way to organize my save stories rather than just alphabetical, but for what I get I love it

Itā€™s an okay app. It is a little glitchy and the voices are great but since I absolutely hate to read it works for me.
  • it says all the periods aloud šŸ˜

This really has motivated me to read along having a disability and having tools like this, makes it all the better.

I was looking for an audio reader that sounded more realistic. I sampled the voices and they sounded pretty good. However, once I tried the free trial and put in webpage to read, it was read VERY robotically and nothing like the samples.
  • Major issue, please look into!

I have been using this app for years daily and I absolutely love it!!! But just recently it started adding 'Ć¢ā‚¬' to the end of certain words?? I tried to find a pattern to it, but the only one I can find is that it usually follows an ending quotation mark (ā€), but not always? Please look into this! It is very distracting and removes the immersion to suddenly hear ā€˜circumflex eurā€™ randomly. (This is occurring when I paste text into the ā€˜Read the clipboardā€™ option and has never occurred before now, so I know there is nothing wrong with the text Iā€™m pasting in.) Once this hopefully gets fixed, Iā€™ll change my review back to five stars!~ [Edit: I just realised that this occurred right after my iPhone updated to IOS 17.4.1, so I think that may be part of it! I hope this helps you narrow down the issue!]
