    Won’t even open.
  • A good concept but the tacking data needs work

The app is helpful for quick day to day mood tracking, but the analytics interface needs a LOT of work- for example if you want to search your tacked moods from last year to look at trends you should be able to quickly swipe from month to month and then zoom in to the day- but Moodys ‘month’ is still swiping one day at a time (same for year) also the notes taken regarding a particular mood at a particular time do not corrisponde and are not in order. I’ve used this to track anxiety which leads to panic attacks- but now I am trying to go back and look at specific notes and trend in a particular day I am unable to see the notes easily. This needs a user interface overhaul for this app to be practical.
  • Buggy, overall not great

Spent 30 minutes entering a broader variety of moods before I started actively using it. When I go to make an entry, it lets me select one mood and also shows that another random mood is selected as well; however, if I close out then entry it only shows the mood I selected. If I try to choose more than one mood, it immediately crashes so I have to create multiple events if I am feeling more than one emotion. *update* Apparently you’re only supposed to be able to choose one emotion. That’s a really dumb design decision, who only has a single emotion at a time all the time? I hate that the weekly summary only shows your emotions as emojis. You have to click into a specific day to see what a special fix emoji means. The filtering to massage the data to see the trend you’re looking for is very clunky. I tested this alongside similar apps Moodlight and iMoodJournal. I was looking for an app that let me record my moods several times a day as I’ve recently begun taking medication that can cause mood swings and my doctor recommended keeping a journal so we know if the dose needs to be adjusted in a few months. I prefer the guided ease of Moodlight but similarly to Moody, the analysis function of the app is terrible. iMoodJournal is more open-ended which seems a little daunting but I can log everything the way I want to, even medication if I’m so inclined. The analysis functionality is by far the best of the three apps. Any moods or factors that you’ve entered have a running score for the time period you’re viewing so if you’ve tagged an emotion or factor multiple times, it shows you what the average feeling score you had when you selected it. I purchased Moody at the reduced subscription rate of $5.99 and tbh even that was too much. Maybe if it was for a direct purchase vs subscription. iMoodJournal was also cheaper at $2.99 with no furth subscription necessary.

    Love it lolz
  • Good but very hard to cancel-

This app is very good. But when it comes time to cancel they probably make it difficult for a reason. I find these tactics dishonest and wouldn’t recommend the app for that specific reason. Not cool Moody.
  • Please fix

Please modify the ”sort by” filters UI screen. The filters are too tightly spaced together, making it challenging to filter and search effectively.
  • Doesn’t update the date

The app often forgets to update the current date so it looks like I’ve but all my notes on one day instead of over the course of I few days. This completely defeats the purpose of tracking changes over time. I tried to let the creators of the app know about the problem but that feature isn’t working either. It said I didn’t have permission from the creators to give feedback. I’m a paid subscriber. ☹️
  • Couldn’t even use it

I got this app and was super excited but once I tried to log in for the first time it left me on the “M” logo for 30 seconds and then sent me back to my home screen. I am sure I would love this app if I could even use it.
  • Ultimately overpriced

Thought this could be a replacement to daylio but the free version of daylio has most of what this app puts under a subscription, with the exception of more in-depth statistics that are also behind a subscription there. Personally I'll stick with daylio since I also prefer the UI and Ux there. After refusing the first yearly deal it tried to sell me a 5.99/year subscription for the first year though, so for some people it could be worth it if you find something in it that the free version of daylio doesn't do for you. If it were always that price or it had a lifetime purchase I'd maybe make the switch for cost more than prefrrence... But if you like it you'll have to pay the full price eventually, so careful not to get attached if you can't put that in your budget. I do like that it seems to track moods separately from the daily rating though.
  • Love it and need it on Apple Watch

I really love this app. I haven’t found anything else like it and it does exactly what I need. My only issue is that there is no app on Apple Watch. That would be such an amazing feature, even if it were only just the moods 🙏.
