    FCP. plugin, uploading, exporting. needs immediate attention. it really doesnt work.

    After creating and editing an entire video the system crashed and won't allow me to edit or even view the video and "support" is a chat bot.

    Love direct upload from Final Cut Pro. Turns export and upload into one click. Simple workflow change that adds value to Vimeo. I don't even use the Sync folder.

    I've used the Vimeo app for more than a year now and it really speeds up my work flow. I see that a couple reviews from Mikel J Wisler(2y ago) and Claycle(3y ago) say it takes a week or 24 hours to upload. Not so for me. I wonder if they have other issues(processor or bandwidth). I use this on both machines and it is very useful.

    I've been trying to use this to save time uploading files to our team account. But there's no support for it, only personal. C'mon Vimeo, don't you got the money to add this...

    It no longer works and Vimeo's support says they have zero interest in fixing it.

  • Used to Work with FCPX but hasn't for a while

    I've used this app for several years and it used to work as intended with FCPX, allowing integrated uploads. It no longer works as a FCPX extention. The reason I give it two stars is that I still use it as a menu bar utility to be able to quickly access recent uploads and as a shortcut to generate review links for clients. It's a timesaver in that respect, but at the moment is useless as a FCPX extention.

    I loved the sync folder feature. Unfortunately, this feature is broken in Ventura, and upon reaching out to the Vimeo team, was told they have no plans to fix it. Bummer.

  • Was Great, now Replace video feature not working

    I have loved this app until recently. I still use it, however. Now it will not 'replace video' from my imac desktop via the app. It will change the name and you can right click on a video and chooose 'open with' and choose 'vimeo' and it will upload the video to your vimeo account that way. I keep getting the message: ......'failed to upload' when trying to replace a video. If i go online to the site, it will replace and upload, just not thru the app any longer. Vimeo told me that have not fixed it lately.

    It seems to provide only "syncing" from some set of pre-defined list of folders. I want to just say "here uplooad these specific 2 videos", not have it "sync" all videos from some pre-defined set of folders. It seems to want to upload the videos simultaneously, and I want to upload them one at a time, so I can work on each as it's finished uploading. It seems to be implemented as a menu-bar item them, where it wants to be running all the time, and the windows (like the progress window) only stays up as long as your cursor is on it. I want to be able to watch a upload progress window while doing other work. As it is, I'm better off just uploading through the website, than using this app. So ie, this app isn't providing a useful upload functionaitly for me.
