    Drivers have been trough the heavy traffic to unlocked bonus zone bonus , then a rider cancel the ride with bonus with it , why the bonus takes easy from the driver ? It’s unfair , as long as it’s not drivers cancel the ride with unlocked bonus , why riders cancel the ride have to let the driver take the consequences for it ? Can you require riders must put Profile photo of themselves, as same as drivers must do , in favor to let drivers identify rider easier . App seems often gives a route to Broken/locked gate or exit not an entrance of apartment . Can you give drivers multiple Route options instead just one ? Stay on which lane reminder would be nicer. Why would you got rid of the increased time extra fee for driver ? Traffic jam made the trip extra longer driver don’t get out extra pay for the extreme longer than it should be trip anymore ?

    I have seen lyft from just few landing pages to now a mega app. Good app improvement along these years. Kudos to the developers. The latest release have some minor trigger issues that may need to be fixed. 1. The app sometimes automatically put you offline after you just open the app and started working. If not focused you may not realize it and waste time waiting for trip while just got logged out by the system. 2. When you are completing a ride and is about to swipe and drop a customer, and it coincides with an automatic new ride about to be added to the queue , the app will auto reject the new queue ride and throw this error “something wrong happened..” 3. When you are in an AirPort Express pickup lot. For example when you are at LaGuardia airport the app will display a text saying “you’re in the JFK queue “. JFK is a complete different airport. 4. Is it really necessary that the driver always have to send your predefined message before being able to write his customized message to the client? I don’t think so. If you need more info I will be happy to provide error screenshots. I will stop driving soon and probably start my SWE career because I just graduated. (You can grab me while i am still going through interviews. Or maybe one of your competitors will offer me a role.) Anyway it has been a pleasure seeing your evolution!

    Disappointed that lyft will not default to a second form of payment or account if your original account is no longer valid. Lyft is claiming they refunded my $750 deposit to a card that has not been valid for over a year. My bank has confirmed that they did not receive the payment because it’s impossible on an account that no longer exists. Lyft continues to support the fact that they refunded it to that card. This is an issue that is happened to multiple people and a disgusting way to take money from people. if you no longer have the original bank account, they will claim that you get your refund but won’t actually give it to you if you do not have the original bank account. So beware.

    App doesn’t allow phone calls from the internet using my iPad. I don’t have an iPhone to connect to so I can’t call my customers through the app when they no show. Major headache. Uber driver app does allow, wish Lyft would too.

    "On September 24, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m., I was working as a Lyft driver and received my first passenger of the day. Despite having clear signs in my vehicle prohibiting eating and drinking, the passenger began eating during the ride. When I respectfully reminded them of the policy, they became upset, yelled at me, and threatened to call the police. I ended the trip, and the passenger exited the vehicle, kicking and damaging my car in the process. I reported the incident to Lyft, but they offered me only $80 in compensation, which was insufficient to cover the damages. When I took my vehicle to a body shop, the estimated repair cost was $1624.58. Despite providing Lyft with the damage report, they refused to cover the full cost, citing that it was too expensive. Over the next five months, I experienced frustration and a lack of support from Lyft, who refused to provide me with the passenger's information to pursue legal action. I was told by the court that I had a valid case, but without the passenger's information, I was unable to proceed. I am sharing this report to raise awareness about the challenges faced by rideshare drivers and the need for companies like Lyft to take responsibility for their actions and provide adequate support and compensation when incidents occur."
