    This app hasn’t been updated in 5 years, and before iOS 17, it still worked great. However, it appears that it’s time has finally come and unless they come back to update the app and it’s Adblock capabilities, I’d recommend sticking with something else. I’m giving it 3 stars because I’ve been quite satisfied over the years, and it still kinda works sometimes, but unreliably so, and no longer blocks youtube ads altogether, which is definitely one of the most annoying recent changes.

    Enough said!!! Blocks some news sites but well worth getting rid of sketch ads I have no interest whatsoever of going to. Especially when they want you to buy via their app. Like that is safe.

    I like it, it gets the job done even if it’s not how I intend to use it but I haven’t had my data taken and it stops me from going on unsafe web sites when I’m looking for some thing 11/10 would recommend

    I have been using this app for a couple years and it’s been great but lately it no longer blocks clickbait in other apps or emails and I have no clue why. I switched iphone from 12 to 15 recently and re installed BlockBear and it doesn’t work as before with all settings the same.

    Yeah it blocks some content, but I still a new pop up window, which I then has to close. I expected it to block the pop up ad altogether not just block the content

    I still get pop up ads, pop unders and all of the same activity I had before installing this app. Nothing has changed in the least. I even uninstalled, reinstalled and turned it on and off in settings with ZERO change. It is a good thing it is free.
