  • Great interface but overpriced

This is one of the best interfaces and layouts of any app I’ve used for blood pressure. It’s simple clear and effective. I like the fact that the colors of normal, high, and stage 1 are relatively mild which helps keep anxiety about BP down. Most apps color code BP above 120/80 in emergency bright red which does no one any favors as high normal can be up to 140/90. So why the crazy scary colors???? It also does a great job of mapping averages with a steady line over days, weeks and even years. Overall great layout. Massive problem is the full feature version is extremely expensive especially when compared to other apps.

The reports help me to see my health visually.

I bought an Oxiline BP monitor and glucose monitor specifically for the ability to sync with Apple Health. Now, more than 6 months after purchase MedM requires an exorbitant subscription for that feature. I’ll NEVER buy another Oxiline device.
  • Why is import to Apple Health no longer working?

This app was advertised snd provided at the time of cuff purchase and I have a record of successful data transfer into Apple Health App until end of 2023. This was free and should stay that way - its at least false advertising or bait and switch. No matter what you call that its odious. There was no notification, no instructions, nothing. The functionality was simply disabled. Terrible.

Sync with Apple health used to be for free when I bought it. Now it appears that I have to pay for that service!
  • No longer works with my hardware

I bought a blood pressure monitor and it said to use this app. It mostly worked but the sync took forever to their servers, so the app was terribly written, and I disabled most of it except for the BP. But after the latest iOS updates, the app shows the splash screen for several seconds and then quits, it won’t fully open. Now I’m stuck with a BP monitor I can’t sync to my Apple Health history. On top of that I’m seeing other reviews saying they’ve done a bait and switch and won’t even sync data to Apple Health without paying; this was free and is the reason I bought the monitor, for Apple Health compatibility. The app is written so poorly, if it ever works again I would never consider paying for it; I feel like the developer should maybe pay me for the time I spent keeping my phone awake to sync the first few times. And it sounds like I may be stuck with buying another blood pressure monitor that has an app that still works and is included, especially if it never works again. Really unusual to have an app be this actually terrible and then to quit working entirely, especially with a paid hardware device I’m stuck with.

I wanted to take the time to express how thoroughly pleased I am with the MedM Health Diary app! I am 65 years old with type 2 diabetes and occasional high blood pressure. I was in search of a health app that would allow me to keep record of both, as well as my weight and daily steps - and that would sync with Apple Health and my meter. I decided to download several apps and to try them all for a week - deleting them as I went along when they didn’t do what I wanted them to do! MedM was the clear winner after only two days! The app syncs to my meter and is so user friendly when I need to input other data manually. And all of my Apple Health data has a place in the app too! I am so happy with this app and recommend it to everyone who likes to have all of their health data in one spot - that is easy to use and has a great customizable dashboard that shows the health info you want to see at a glance when you open the app. This app helps me keep track of all my health info in one great place!

After figuring out how to Bluetooth pair with my BP device using the app, despite the instructions, I was able to accomplish pairing. The app is average not great.
