    Twins can be hard to keep up with, when they decide to travel to the Antarctic, Alaska, Greenland, Monterey, and San Diego in order to count the whales, feed the sharks, catalogue the penguins, and avoid the Polar bears. Theres nothing like Marco Polo to keep the family together and (almost) worry free. When there is the rate glitch in the system, the Help Squad has never let us down. If you haven’t tried Marco Polo you’re missing a great way to remain together when you’re apart.

    I love this app, I’ve used it for free for several years and I’ve paid for a subscription. I’d loved the benefits of the paid per subscription, but I lost my financial security and couldn’t continue unfortunately so I can’t save long-term messages from my precious loved ones who have passed away, when you pay for a subscription, you get to keep these messages and replay them. It was a beautiful memorial, but I have it free now and I absolutely love using this to keep in touch with my best friend and my family.

    Marco Polo is trying some new stupid story like feature called Seconds. Why a video app needs a video app is beyond me. And apparently it’s by invitation only and my reward for spending money on this app is getting an invitation I cannot reject???? I have already discussed this with their support team, who is always very nice, but gives me a script that doesn’t work. Delete the app, reinstall the app, restart your phone, and on and on and on. None of these actually does anything. I don’t want it on my home tab so I toggle off that option. Then I look and it’s been toggled back on. Every time! I can’t get rid of it. The only way apparently I can get rid of it, is to permanently delete the app, or perhaps stop being a paid subscriber because it’s by invitation only. Do I have to send all my friends a message and say if you want to make a story, use Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, etc? I don’t want Marco Polo to be anything other than Marco Polo. Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery. It’s the biggest lack of creativity. I’ve spent probably about an hour and a half in two days simply trying to get this thing off of my app. I don’t want my friends to think that I’m using this because I barely have time to use the regular app. I don’t like things being forced on me, especially when I’m paying for them. Meanwhile I’m still waiting for a message from a month and a half ago to be delivered. It’s lost in Marco Polo cyberspace. I spent a long time explaining something to a friend. Support gave me a script that did not work. And when it didn’t work, they did not have another answer for me, so the whole message was lost. She couldn’t hear it and I couldn’t access it. But never fear! Because Marco Polo has a new section of its app—STORIES—with a different name. Just fix the thing you do well and make it better. Stop trying to be something else. frankly, I can barely keep up with social media as it is. All this does is create more frustration, more tension, and more reason to disconnect.

    So I can connect to other phones on this app and can send them some pretty cool messages. It is so great you can even draw on the screen when you are making a video. It has cool and funny voices that you can use and will send videos across the world! The only problem I have had with it is whenever I try to watch a video that just came through from my friends or family it won’t play. It will just sit there trying to load but every time I try it won’t play. This is a terrible problem because then you can’t actually connect with your friends. It has done this with all of my contact and I would suggest this app but please fix this problem. I love this app but I can’t reach out to my mom on it because it doesn’t play! Please fix this.😩👏

    I’ve never ever rated an app, never felt compelled to do so. I got this app about 10 days ago after my best friend encouraged it. I’ve been using it to communicate with her, my other bff, and a person I am newly seeing. It has been so fun to just include as a part of my day, sharing thoughts, nuances, and experiences as they happen with the people that mean the most to me. The video quality sometimes isn’t great when it comes through, especially if you are moving, but that’s almost charming to me in a way. This is a great app, and probably the only app I’ll ever review.

    Marco Polo so well it makes it easy to speak to my friends on the run. You can easily talk make a make make effect to like say instead of you can write and not draw things you can write if you buy the special one. I think you should one though it is a little tricky and it tries to get you to invite people, but that’s fine, so I think I’ll give it five stars four it’s a fun thing to have on my thing. It just looks a little weird when I look at all my apps, but that’s it.

    I recently got a new phone and the app will only open to the homepage. It will not enter into the video screen. I’ve tried re downloading it twice. This is a poorly made app.

  • Can’t give microphone access

    Been using this app for a long time, but just today, I’m assuming because of an update, I am required to give the app access to my phone’s microphone. I have *tried* and I can’t get it to work. So frustrating!!!
