  • You pay money and everyone can just delete all your work

I paid so much over all the years and by the end the person I was sharing the projects with was able to exclude me from all the last 9 years of our common work. What am I paying for ?! Dropbox is a fraud and you need another storage additionally to rescue and save your files from being excluded or deleted by people you work with. Remember! You can be excluded from your projects you are working on for over years and they won’t be grant access to you if you have work with a crazy partner and share projects with a crazy. Drop box should never allow people to exclude you from your work you accomplished. What is it drip box, how would you call it? Why I’m paying you?
  • Horrible App

I find it amazing that this app has such a high rating because I have never had anything but issues with it. It’s not compatible with Apple, has ridiculous login requirements, and each time I use another app with a drop box link, it asks me to download the app (that I already have downloaded) and makes me login again. My issue of the day is, I can’t login to my account which contains purchased content. I have the options to A.) forget password- send email (tried and email has not come to my inbox after a full ten minutes) or B.) One time login (tried and it says my account is not ‘enabled’ for this feature. Hence, I can’t get into my stuff. So out of absolute spite for this horrible app and company I am here to write this review in an attempt to encourage creators needing to share files to PLEASE, PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER APP.

This app is so good!! I can upload what I need to fast and easy just with one click of a button. I would recommend downloading this if you want more storage or just to keep pictures safe!

My email associated with DropBox was shut down unexpectedly by the server and I didn't recall my password. There seems to be no customer service that can help with this. All pictures are lost to me because there is no way around being shut out. Don't I do not recommend.
  • This was my favorite until the latest update

This app used to be awesome! With the latest update you can now no longer see your synced folders and files. This is ridiculous! The app is now a completely useless nothingness. Please revert it back to the old way because it was better. I liked to open the app, find the folder I want, upload some photos into it and be done! Voilà!

  • Doesn’t open drawings from hyperlinks

Terrible for opening .pdf drawings. Terrible. Super annoying. Every time; EVERY time, you click on a drop box hyperlink, instead of opening the link, or opening the app, it takes you to a web page asking if you want to ‘get the app.’ I already have the F app. If you say no, the link opening some rancid quality image. Something like an effigy of the actual file. If you say yes, fabulously, it takes you through a dizzying number of taps and pop up indies to close and then and finally it gets you into the app, WITHOUT opening the file. We’re researching getting our whole business off this platform. Android or apple, it’s the same problem. We can put links from Dropbox in our files b/c our clients can’t use them. It’s worse than attaching a file. Just garbage.
  • What year is it!? Search is worthless on iPhone.

You would think after the thousands of dollars I’ve personally pumped into this company, they could manage to get basic search functions from the 1990s working. Any reason why when I search for folders they don’t appear in results? I type the exact name of a folder and I get no results. (Filtered type to folder. I type in a single word and it shows up. Type the number 2024 (which is in the title) in the search and folder doesn’t show up. I guess basic functionality is too much to ask.
  • UI is count and cumbersome

I don’t know what happened, or what changed, but now even simple tasks, like saving documents and renaming documents many more. Simple things like topping on the final name and having the cursor placed at the end of the name. Now in order to rename a something, you have to click rename, move the cursor in the right spot, which can be extremely difficult on iOS, then rename the file. Please bring back the old style. The same goes for selecting the folder that you want to save the document in. Now you have to drill down the file structure by clicking and with endless scrolling.
  • Thank you
