    I haven’t used the app in almost a year because they won’t hide my email address.When you make a purchase some sellers just spam you but if you get the right seller mad you get phished!Pay attention

    A seller sold me two items and one was defective. The “case” took over two months for a response from paypal and the response was for me to pay the return shipping for the items while sending them back. Yes because that makes so much sense for me to pay for the sellers problem even though they scammed me. It’s too late for me to dispute with my bank now. Useless app and company in general.

    Paypal, on every platform, has a problem with 2 factor verification log in. If you change your phone number, it will update in their system, but any log in page that needs to text you a code will still display the old phone number and send the code to that number instead of the updated one in the database, unless you tap "having trouble logging in?" at which point it will display the new phone number and even send the code to that new number. This is a lame, amateurish hole in their security and could make you lose access to your account. Often times the "having trouble logging in?" link will not allow you to text the new number, it just tells you to call their phone answer tree, which is a cruel waste of time / a punishment. Help desk can't do anything for you and if you try to explain this bug to them they will either not understand or delete your ticket or even your entire account (seriously, it happened to me). I've reported this bug many times and they won't do anything about it. They either don't care or maybe their software security team can't figure out why this is happening, its pathetic. This bug prevents me from accessing my account / online shopping, even from this app, about 2/3 of the times I try to log in, maybe more. This is usually due to the "having trouble accessing?" link only working within certain webpages or apps, so the correct phone number will usually not display.

    PayPal has a set 3.49% processing fee in place as well as a $0.49 per transaction on top. I feel like there should be a smaller processing fee and waived transaction fee for under a $100. Also never leave your money in PayPal, Venmo or any entity that’s not FDIC insured. Some guy had over a $1 million in his PayPal. There was an internal investigation done on this particular incident. Mid-level manager was giving his hacker friend all the high value accounts that he stumbled upon. $1,000,000 in a PayPal account? buggin

  • PayPal dispute team is a fraud and never do there job

    PayPal dispute/synchrony credit even though they get all the documentation needed and they sit on it for 30 days and then they close the dispute stating they don’t receive any documentation without requesting customer for more information , this is pathetic and fraud banking company and will not recommend to have business with them and I am surprised how this bank runs with so much negligence. Seems like paypal credit by synchrony is the last bank you should have business with .
