  • Cannot be trusted

I cannot believe I paid for this app. I’ve found so many errors that I cannot use it anymore because it cannot be trusted. If I relied on this it could truly harm my diabetic family member. Also way too much junk food listed while real foods are left out, but when the numbers are wrong anyway it doesn’t matter. EXAMPLE — potatoes rate very high but potato salad is ok and showing GI and GL as both low/green. Wrong! So disappointed and wasted $25.

I like that it has glycemic load. Other apps claim to, but don't. I gladly paid for the ad free version. I'm hoping in the future the developer will add real portion sizes. A lot of foods default to 100 grams, but they're not foods that are sold in grams. I spend a lot of times looking up conversions and doing math. I think there's a lot of potential here, refining the portion sizes would make it a lot better.
  • Really limited database

Save your money and just Google load and index of your foods- the apps database is very limited.

I’d love to jump in and use this app but basic foods are missing. If I have to load common foods (like blueberries) I could just make my own list/app. Also, I’d like to use Imperial measurements. Even though I’ve chosen this option I am still required to input foods in metric measurements. And I can find no ‘help’ file to assist me. I’m frustrated with the amount of money I spent on this app.

  • Dynamic pricing - you lost a customer

After looking around at various apps I decided I wanted purchase full access to this app. The first time I looked it was $14.99 and when I opted to not buy immediately I received an $11.99 offer good for 5 minutes. I actually returned to complete the purchase within 5 min, but by that time it was $17.99 or $19.99 with a one time offer of $14.99 (the original price). After uninstalling and even removing from my purchase history and then reinstalling, the most current offer is now $24.99 with an offer of $19.99. This is a joke. Such crappy pricing policies. Can’t trust this app which such horrible (I would say sneaky but it’s laughable at the transparency to receive the increasingly elevated pricing within a 20 minute window) pricing policies.

I downloaded this app, and stupidly bought it before I tested it first. I would like a refund for the purchase price, please. This app is no good.

The glycemic part is nice, but big disappointment for the glucose - why bother entering your blood sugar if there is NO trending or reporting? Doesn’t make sense - emailed and inquired 3 times - no response - could be great app if they added glucose trending chart.
