  • Better on desktop than iPhone app

The iPhone app is a little clunky. I don’t like logging into the app to get a password. Then when I click on the link of the website I want to launch and login to 1Password wants me to login to 1Password website to fetch my password for the site I’m wanting to login to. So what? I have to login to the app and the 1Password website to do this. The app is a quick login for 1Password because my password is in key chain. The website is more difficult to get into because it’s a strong password. Even ewallet was easier than this and it’s an old app.

Must moved over for LastPass. Overall, nice application for a reasonable price but needs a proper legacy access mechanism. The PDF “toolkit” really does not cut it.

To be fair, this app really helped me organize my passwords. But then, when I would select a particular card to edit password information on - it would bring up a completely different card to edit. I got burned by this a few times and ended up with no idea what had been edited. I’ve moved to a new system because I can’t afford to pay for an app that faults on its basic function.

Sorry, updating my review. This is a great team. I guess I am not tech savvy enough to understand the complexity of implementing so many new features for multiple platforms. Thanks guys!

I very rarely feel a desire to leave a review for anything but the best and worst that I feel there is to offer; this is most certainly in the former camp. This is an exceptional application. I’ve used 1Password continuously both personally and across multiple enterprise teams for over two years and have found no better single solution across all platforms to manage anything and everything that you want managed through a password manager: files, personal information, environment variables, OTP/MFA details, addresses, login details, server credentials, all easily imported and exported into and out of any environment or operating system you work in or spend time on. They have browser extensions that (recently) have become extremely stable across chrome and firefox builds, a dedicated CLI and a dedicated GUI for Windows, Linux, and Mac - all of which i use invariably and all of which work really well once you get them setup - as well as options for hosting your own access server in cloud/remote environments. They also make it extremely easy to manage access across users, environments, and teams. There are a multitude of imposters out there that all may appear to do the same thing, but don’t bother. You can and should immediately stop wandering through the haze for a complete password management solution. Just grab 1Pass and be done for good.

Never had an issue with the app, seamless experience with desktop and mobile. Autofill is extremely helpful.

I cannot make this work with Okta sign in on mobile.
  • No option for feedback, so I’ll write a review instead

Just went through a whole loop on their website where the “send us an email” link doesn’t let you send an email, and posting to the forum requires a lengthy registration process. Every time I open the app, it loads the same item and when I try to close it, it asks if I want to save changes. Like the changes I made a couple weeks ago aren’t saved?! Or is the dirty bit just stuck and it will forever ask if I want to save changes I haven’t made? When I tap the magnifying glass it seems to bring up whatever I had searched for before (or it’s another bug). I want to search for something and no, whatever I found last time is not a good result—especially since it’s not an item in a list below a search field, it’s the item instead of a search field.
