  • I’m very disappointed in the latest update

How can I trust a weather app that thinks sunset is at 1:11 pm and sunrise is at 11:29pm in Branson, MO on April 17th, 2024? This has always been my go to weather app - so much so that I pay for the subscription - but with obvious garbage like this I guess I’m going to have to find another app.

$19.99 to $69.99? Joking right? No way, cancelled. Goodbye.
  • Deceptive

This is not a free app there is no free version it is subscription only so just a heads up. They should just be upfront and honest about pricing very deceptive and manipulative. If It’s subscription only then just say it not that difficult. Save yourself the trouble there are better options out there without the deception.
  • Good app, price increase is unacceptable

A 6x price increase for an app using publicly available data is bonkers. Do you guys think you’re AccuWeather? it has been good to have this app and the Pro features, but bye.

I wish I could trust this app it says it is clear and it is actually raining you would think if you pay for it it would be some what accurate
  • Not worth the cost

This used to be my go-to weather app but since switching to iPhone it’s never worked right. The widget constantly gets stuck in the past or old locations. I regularly have to go into settings, change the location setting to something else, then back to “while using app or widget”, give it a minute to think about what it’s done, and then it finally figures out where I am. I mean, whenever I go to work it thinks I’m in France! And no, I don’t commute to France for work. I can’t get a quick glance at the forecast, the app itself hasn’t been all that accurate, and with the subscription fee jumping so much this simply isn’t worth it. I’ve installed/reinstalled several times only to have to reset all my preferences and then guess what? It doesn’t know where I am or what time it is. I’ve sent in requests to the devs multiple times for this issue only to have the same suggestions (uninstall/reinstall, check location settings) suggested. It’s bad for $30, atrocious for $80.
  • Price Increase is a joke

There are a ton of weather apps out there. To go from 9.99/yr to 59.99/yr is a joke. See ya!

I’ve been a paid subscriber to this app for years and each April it is time to renew and I think about all the issues the app has that just shouldn’t be happening. The past year has been really rough for the app; I can’t see the lightning strikes regardless how it’s toggled, the widget is typically blank or hasn’t refreshed, and I constantly have to go into location setting and turn all location info off then back on just about each day to ensure the widget does update. For two weeks the widget just sits blank on my phone. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app so many times. I’ve emailed support and they have recommendations for how I can fix it, which I stated here, but the fix is only good for a few hours, a day at best.

Love the forecast, the ability to let app know actual conditions if different than observed…. Only complaint is the wind section - it doesn’t show/describe wind direction
