  • Great yardage but keep crashing

    The app is great for yardage. I use it now instead of my garmin gps since the GHIN app is updated for our course renovations (new bunkers and widened fairways and greens) and garmin is not. Also wonderful at tracking stats and playing match play (gross or net) with friends. Only 3 stars because the app keeps crashing when I review my scoring history by course and the mobile app does not work well (yardages not accurate, app crashes, could not post scores). Otherwise 5 stars!

  • Please update Apple Watch software

    App constantly shuts off on watch. Always need to reopen and resync with phone. So annoying during the round. Will glitch and delete the whole score sometimes. Please get your lazy development team to download birdies app and implement certain user friendly features. This is ridiculous.

    I’m happy with the yardages as it is always within a yard or two of other golfer’s range finders. Took a little while to get familiar with how to work through scoring a round. My main problem is that it often returns me to the home page and I have to start again, telling it to finish my round so it goes back to the course I’m playing. Today, it kept reverting back to hole #2 even though I was on the back nine. When I manually moved to the hole I was playing, every time I tried to enter my score, it closed the app. I tried restarting my phone, but that didn’t work. I wish it was more reliable in this regard, especially after paying $50 for the upgrade. Needs work!

  • The courses I play are not up to date

    I have 3 home courses in the community which I live in and all of them are out of date and two don’t have heat maps for the greens, making what I paid for enhanced gps pretty much useless. I feel like I got ripped off.

  • Please add live activity

    Want to use the app during play but hate having to unlock phone each time while on course. While 18 Birdies has live activity where it stays on my locked screen.

  • Can’t get 18-hole match play

    I’ve selected an opponent and an 18 hole matchplay net. The app then puts us on a nine hole match and doesn’t show the second half of the scorecard. It seems locked into a nine hole situation regardless if I select 18 holes or 10 to 17 or nine. Please advise.

  • Apple Watch loses connection

    Scoring and maps are great but I’d like to keep my iPhone in my pocket and use my Apple Watch only for yardages. The only setting I can see to help is to allow background refresh but it doesn’t help. Apple Watch keeps going back to the message saying “Searching… start a round on the iPhone.”. I bought a yearly subscription so hopefully they sort it out. Internet searches show others have this problem while others do not. iPhone Pro Max and Apple Watch Ultra here.

  • Totally unreliable

    Half the time I get the message that GPS Is not available-.today it would not let me enter hole by hole scores

  • Watch connection lost

    I used the app about three times the first time it dropped the connection between my iPhone and my Apple Watch after the ninth hole. I contacted technical support. They asked me to delete the app reload it. See what happens after that the GPS on my watch would never load.
