Why do I have to log in so much? This app has more security than my bank
  • Ok but seriously flawed

As a news aggregator, it works ok most of the time. However, it struggles with basic functionality. Stories marked as “read” display again on the front page after refreshing the feed, which is frustrating.
  • Usable for some, not for me

While I think the 50 feed limit for most rss users is reasonable given that I use it to follow tumblr accounts it’s not useful at only 50. Additionally the AI features are pointless (and yes I follow threat intel and related topics, still pointless) and the app nags you too much to use them.
  • Newsletter Email is Broken

I have been using Feedly for a long time and one of the main reasons I PAY for upgraded service is to have newsletters I follow emailed directly to my Feedly account. Unfortunately, the unique emails their app generates contains a large number of random letters, numbers, and characters before the @ that many newsletter email services refuse to recognize as a valid email. I have brought this to Feedly’s attention a couple of times and they email me a complicated work around using Gmail. I remind them that I PAY for this service, yet they seem uninterested in fixing the problem.
  • The ONLY way I get my news...

My News on My Terms. This is the only way to go about getting news. Topics that I find of interest from sources that I trust. This has changed the way I go about finding out what's happening in the world. Love it!
  • Pro User.. Fix the widget, please.

I enjoy the app overall but accessing a story from the widget thumbnail takes you to the main feed and not the story you click on. Have to back out and reclick to get to story you wanted to see originally. Tried to find a way to report this without a review but there was no contact option in the app or on the website that I saw. Thx.
  • Was OK , getting worse

I was long time user of the old classic Feedly app. It was pretty good. Then came the New Coke of RSS Readers, the new Feedly. It was a downgrade in functionality. I get it. The maker needed certain functionality to be payed for. Everyone needs to eat. But every release gets more buggy. Frozen screens. Red error dialogs indicating some network problem. Now the entire app freezes up on me sometimes, requiring manual termination and relaunching. What’s my incentive to pay if the app keeps getting worse?

Best RSS reader I’ve found but not without issues: The cost for Pro, and the buggy 2x2 widget
  • Good app for organizing

Feedly is a good app for organizing articles and avoid having to scroll media outlet home pages daily. Very intuitive and easy to read and interact with. I enjoyed the search function to tailor my feed to my specific interests.
