A once great app that I used for years has become so bad I wouldn’t give a nickel, much less $38 for its frustration. You’d have better luck sitting on a rock hoping it will hatch into a flying monkey than you would trying to get this beast to fill in a password

While helpful many times does not appear to learn the new password. Also quite frequently keeps using previous passwords

The issue is what LastPass is all about: passwords. I have dozens of them and Each one keeps telling me I have to change it to something more difficult for the ones that are more brilliant: the Hackers. So my life’s wasted for another 15 minutes trying to remember what I had changed it to, what clever password I created to fool Evil. You, Technology, told me you would make life easier. Instead, you have made life more difficult, more complicated and more dangerous. Thank you ever so much.
  • Frustrating and stupid problems

The app is fine but I think the one star rating might get somebody’s attention. I’ve spent the last 45 minutes going around in circles trying to login. I knew this would happen. As soon as they started saying “we recognize you on this device so no reason to bother signing in with your master password“ I knew I would eventually forget my master password, and I did. Now that it’s required it’s a whole stupid process to try to recover my account. And I’m supposed to be pairing my device with the LastPass authenticator app. They ask me to open the Authenticator app and scan a QR code, but there’s no function on the Authenticator app to scan the code. And when I go to my camera to scan the code it takes me to a login page - the login that has now failed so many times that they’ve suspended my account. Frustrating and stupid

Was a LastPass user for over 15 years As the grew it seems like it has declined They forced me to change my master password I had for years and now I can remember the new one so I go to password recovery and i receive a code. I tried to put the code into recovery and I keep getting error messages. This has been going on for weeks and when I try to do it on different machines I get the same results. What I don’t understand is why did I have to change my password in the first place?
  • Sites don’t go in automatically

I was under the impression as a paying customer that my sites and passwords would be shared among my devices and that as I went to a new site and created a password that they would automatically go in to last pass. Neither happens.

  • No Longer Works With IPhone / IPad

The app extension stopped working with Safari on my iPhone and iPad. The instructions they gave to work around don’t solve the problem. Basically wipes out any convenience benefit. I’ll be switching password managers if it’s not fixed soon.
