The app is bad. It will not track my ball in standard mode so I have to put it on low light mode, then if I hit my ball the app just says busy and does not even give me any data. Don’t waste your time it’s a waste of storage.

Was looking for a good launch monitor app before I bought a real one. Wrong! Created an account and for three days all I’ve seen is the login screen. Acts like it’s gonna sign in then doesn’t. It doesn’t do anything. I’ve deleted and reinstalled 4/5 times, shut my phone down, with/without WiFi, nothing. I’m gonna keep trying but it’s like purgatory.

Captures maybe 10% of shots no matter how many tims it says “ready”.

Took forever for the app to even go to the “ready screen”… didn’t register a single shot.. kept freezing, wouldn’t refresh so I had to exit out and start over every time. Followed the set up instructions to a tee… save the money… go buy an actual golf shot monitor

I have followed all instructions on setting up monitor and I am getting the audio feedback “ready”. After I hit the ball it goes to the data screen and just says “busy” and all data points say 0.0
  • Great idea still needs tons of work.

I really wanted this app to work great. I’m using the free version but unless the sunlight is in an exact position I can’t get it to read the ball. I’ve tried it 3 different time at the range once in afternoon and got it to read 4 shots but none back to back. Next more late afternoon and for it to read 1 shot then never got it to register the ball again. Last was morning wouldn’t read the ball at all. Readjusted the phone multiple times along with changing the color of ball I was hitting and nothing. I wanted to do the paid version to see the better stats but can’t justify that if I can’t get it to read the ball.

While the idea sounds cool, I spent about an hour trying to get the app to pick up even one shot, but no matter what I did it would not do so. *Update- I’m able to get it to work outdoors(and the distances match my launch monitor), but indoors still isn’t working. For what it costs, the outdoors usage is worth the price! *Update to the update- Now outdoors only works sporadically and indoors doesn’t work at all. I do have to say that the customer support team was an email correspondence with me for about a week trying to get it to work, but it just wasn’t happening. Maybe a future update will fix all of this but for now I am uninstalling the app and non-renewing the monthly subscription. *Update to the updated update- Now, it works perfectly...Indoor & Out; I’m baffled at this point; I’ve literally changed nothing about the setup. November 10 Update- The app has undergone an “update” and now everything is off again. The ball rarely gets detected and when it does, the stats are just a crap shoot. It was working almost perfectly before; why change? Big downgrade in usability for now-I’ll have to cancel my subscription until the issues are fixed. 1/23/2021 Update- After weeks of the app working great, it suddenly stopped working this week. Outdoors(same setup I’ve always had), it won’t even detect a single shot, and indoors, once again, numbers are totally randomly generated. I just got done hitting my 9 iron anywhere from 40 yards to 212 yards(I’m a consistent 145-150 carry with it). While this app has shown glimpses of what it could be, and has seem to be very accurate at times, I just can’t continue throwing seven dollars a month at this experiment until all of the bugs are finally worked out. Maybe I’ll check back in a year or so and be surprised with what I find then. If anyone reading these reviews reads through my history of updates, you can see that the whole thing has been very erratic and sporadic. 5/5/2021 Update- I love the new update! PLEASE stick with this version for a long while and do not change it! 10/22/2021 Update- Everything has continued to work very well! I recently compared numbers side by side with GC2 and the numbers were nearly identical. 9/29/2022- Unfortunately about a month ago an update was done, and the results have been dismal. I’ve gone back-and-forth with the team, but we can’t seem to produce even remotely accurate numbers, so I’m stepping away from the app at this point for a while. 3/13/2023 Update- I gave up on the new version of the app; it is simply terrible and isn’t even remotely accurate. Ironically, as I have told the developers, the old app still works WONDERFULLY and I keep it on my old iPhone. 9/9/2023 Update- I had given up on the new app throughout the spring and summer; testing it maybe once every other month and still seeing the same inaccurate results. However, I tested it yesterday and today at the max distance away from the ball(2.10 feet) and it instantly became dead on. I will take this as a small sign of hope and will continue testing and updating this review.

Will not work for swing speeds over 110 mph. Couldn’t track any of my drives, the lowest club it could track was my 5 iron.

If I could give no stars I would. I can go to a range with trackman or actually shoot a range finder and figure my distances. I tried buying this to use as a “simulator” as I have a mat and catch to hit off in my pole barn. I thought this was gonna be the next best thing from investing in a real simulator. Very disappointed for the money. The pro version of this app is no better than the free version. This is garbage if you want to hit balls at your home indoors.
