    Lately the app crashes more frequently than ever. There are times i can’t access the app for days

    I’ve been a subscriber for YEARS, but since they split Scribd into Everand I’ve had continuous problems. Audiobooks will randomly restart, titles I’m actively reading or listening to disappear from the top of my ‘saved’ list and have to be searched for (great while driving 😬) and often the app won’t load at all, saying there’s a connection issue on my end (every other app works fine). I finally tried deleting the app to reload it, and now I can’t even log in. They’re trying for two-factor authentication except it just keeps looping from ‘enter the code we emailed you’ to ‘sign in’ and back to ‘we’ve sent you a code’. All I wanted to do was listen to a book while doing dishes, and instead I’m wasting time trying to get the app to work. The frustration isn’t worth it anymore. So long, and thanks for all the fish. EDIT: just realized that I’d paid for a year almost a month ago, and no option for a prorated refund. Great. Enjoy my money, deleted app

    This is my favorite audiobook app. The monthly price is worth the inventory imo. My only gripe is that it’s so glitchy! Sometimes my audio will just pause and buffer by no cause of my WiFi. Or it’ll skip like a scratched CD. Sometimes it crashes. I’ve even had to log out & log back in to get the app to work. Fix the glitches and it’s perfect.

    Everand only allows you to listen to maybe 5 audiobooks before it puts everything as available the following month Scribd never did that. Finding more on Spotify then on this app. So sad cause I loved scribd before it changed and not it looks like it’s following the footsteps of Audible

    Please please please let us speed up books between 1.5 and 1.8! Honestly, having a .5 control on any audio speed like Libby does would make this app perfection! I love this app, but some books I can’t hit a perfect speed so I still have to borrow from Libby. Thank you!!

  • Won’t work

    I have used this app for almost a year and have loved it, but now it won’t work. Keeps saying I am not connected when I have 5 bars or on WiFi. (Tried connecting both on cellular and WiFi) I followed all the trouble shooting prompts and deleted and reinstalled and now can’t even log into it 😩

    Works half the time and won’t keep your bookmark on audiobooks. Super annoying. Today, shocker, doesn’t work. No customer service to help out with issues.

    It is only unlimited for SOME specific titles. The vast majority of titles will have a hourly reading limit and you will get cut off. App is often glitchy and the website is often randomly down. I do not recommend this app or service until then become more transparent about their billing and marketing.

    UPDATE: The app has gonna better but then today just suddenly stopped. Saying it was my connection when I have full signal and WiFi. This is crazy. I want to really love this app and I did in the beginning. But now I keep getting kicked out of the app and having to go back in and it does not 5mins later. I’m restarted my phone and I just uninstalled and reinstalled it. Let’s hope this works.
