This used to be my favorite app. I would spend hours reading about cases and now it’s absolutely useless. After reading the recent reviews, it seems as if I am not alone. Do you guys even read what people are saying? Doesn’t seem like it! Really disappointed in your platform for not even caring and typing the same AI response back to every review. Do better. CHANGE. IT. BACK.

Hate the updates to the app. It was unique and awesome before. Loved the map feature in particular. Completely ruined it by taking away the features people wanted it for in the first place. Ridiculous.

Just not anywhere near as good as it used to be. Was one of a kind now its just a trash news article app.

You can’t even “enter the door” of crimes like you used to be able to?? Ya know, the WHOLE REASON THE APP WAS CALLED CRIMEDOOR???? New app is AWFUL

A few years ago this app was incredible. It was a map of true crime pins across the USA - you could click on each pin and step inside the crime. Now it’s just a crappy news site. Extremely disappointed in what this has become.

I’ve been using the app for years researching and reading about crime and I fell in love with the 3D interactive experience and the use of the map feature. The app looked cool and sophisticated but since recently getting back into it, it now feels like a bad buzzfeed article. It feels so dreadfully boring and confusing to use, I miss the old version and had to delete the app :(

Went to log on for the first time in a while and realized it’s a whole different app. Feels like I’m scrolling through those fake article ads at the bottom of websites. I really enjoyed scrolling through the map, checking updates on cases and seeing new cases appear. This is a shame and I’ll have to try and find another crime app that is similar to the old crime door

I miss the old CrimeDoor. This new update is terrible I liked seeing new and old crimes but where’s the 90s crime and on this day crimes I don’t want 1800s smh. Wish you’d go back to before.

CrimeDoor's Augmented Reality feature is a game-changer in the world of true crime exploration. Much like the popular podcast 'Crime Junkie', it brings the often overlooked details of crime scenes to the fore, fostering education and awareness. The AR feature allows us to examine these scenes closely, in a way that text or audio simply can't convey. It's not about sensationalizing crime, but about understanding it better, and potentially helping to solve cold cases. We need the AR feature back because it brings a new dimension to our understanding of these serious events, much like 'Crime Junkie' does with its deep dives into each case. It's an essential tool for those of us deeply invested in the world of true crime. Every detail matters.

What happened to the crime map? This used to be my favorite app because it had an interactive map with crime cases. Super upset about the change. :(
