Nanit

We’ve been using this camera since my son was born and he is 3 1/2 years old now. we have never had any significant issues with the video or sound quality— the only thing that we needed to get to enhance the performance was a Wi-Fi extender. The major “con” I would say is that you don’t get sound alerts when you utilize the white noise feature on the camera, so we bought a separate white noise machine so that the Nanit would pick up if my son was crying or calling out for us. One update that I love, that didn’t exist when we originally bought the camera, was the fact that you could enable access to someone ONLY if they are connected to the same WiFi network. This was huge improvement because I didn’t always remember to disable my mother in law’s access when she’d leave after babysitting, and I’d always wonder if she was accessing the camera when she wasn’t at my home. Overall, the Nanit and subscription have been really useful!

The app seems to work more or less okay on my Mac. I wish that the audio was persistent when the window wasn't in focus, and that the developer didn't opt out of the Apple Vision Pro. My life would be infinitely easier if I could have a little video of the kiddo up and running. The web app crashes almost instantly.

Just note that if you want any value greater than a simple $40 baby monitor, you’ll also need to shell out $120 a year for a subscription. My yearly subscription just lapsed, and I was extremely disappointed to find that many previously free features (limited video history, viewing alerts) are now behind a paywall.

I absolutely love this monitor! Gives me a piece of mind and is easy to control on the app .

The best part about nanit is how easy it is to have another kid and need another camera. Being able to watch both cameras at the same time on one device. Not to mention, even if the internet is down, as long as the router how power it still works. As long as your on the same network. 100% recommend nanit to everyone

Does everything I’d want a camera to do & more! I love looking back to see what time my baby fell asleep & wakes up because I use wake windows for naps. This is very helpful also if you have someone else watching your baby so you can see when they go down for naps. I love this baby camera & monitor & breathing wear!

Excelente detalle de horas del bebé dormido, despierto, notificaciones de ruido, es lo mejor que tenemos para cuidar y ver el bebé, simplemente la amo la aplicación.
